Circle of the
EarthTM
is a gathering place for those of us who believe the following:
***That, within 30 to 60 years, we will face catastrophic events and the human species will not survive in its present form. We must prepare and position ourselves for this occurrence for it could be the end of us, or it could be a great opportunity.
***That the human species lost its way long, long ago when it stopped seeing our planet, the Earth, as a sacred place. And, thus, we could do to it as we pleased. We sent religion and Goddess/God up into the sky and out into the universe and became, in a sense, insane. We no longer made contact with our outside world . We no longer saw our environment, the place where we lived. Because of this, we forgot that politics is most truly meaningful when it includes the whole person, uniting our bodies and brains with our spirits.
***That our consumption-addicted, economically obsolete, technology-dominant, sky-God-directed culture must be obliterated from our consciousness. Its "evolvement" would maintain our old mind-set and will bring only change that is no change. Of course, we all know that the human condition has slowly and gradually improved over the long course of our history. But ask yourself: are we basically any different?
***That, as a "sacred place," the center of a new culture will be a sacred Earth Calendar. The sacred Earth Calendar will focus our cultural awareness on the planet,  create a system of daily, local ceremonies and practices, and create an annual cycle of Earth Events in which all peoples, in all regions, in all nations, in all religions join together on a global, electronically-bound basis to honor, mark and extol the Earth's perfection.
***That those of us who are committed to the above need to come together NOW for there is much work to be done, much to be worked out and prepared. We need to prepare for the coming cataclysm. We need to begin perfecting our techniques for "seeing" the Earth's energy. We need to begin organizing into local groups and celebrating the Calendar and the rituals. We need to prepare ourselves for our roles in what may be our species' only future.

All major religions incorporated a higher, inner language of words that embodied their sacredness: Latin, Hebrew, Vedic, Quranic, Pali and so forth. While these maintained the connectedness of each to its ineffable mystery, they also served to alienate each from all others. But, before any of these existed, shamans had a sacred language. It was of drumming, vocal sounds and dance. And that sacred language does not alienate because it may be understood by anyone.
